| Cup
Champions
2011
The first silverware of the 2011 indoor league season has gone to Torexe Phantoms who defeated Wanderers 25-22 in the final of this years EDVA Cup Tournament. In the league, Phantoms currently find themselves towards the bottom of Division One, but this counted for nothing as the team worked their way through the round robin and knock out stages of the event, to set up the Cup Final match against Wanderers. Wanderers are currently leading Division two of the local EDVA league and undefeated this season. The team beat a number of Division One teams on their way to the final and were unlucky not to win the event, after holding the lead during most of the match, however it was the Phantoms who took the vital points at the end of the match and with it the 2011 title. |
2011 Champions: Jess Webber, Sophie Batho, Sam Oldfield, Simon Oldfield, Matt Thompson, Nikki Batho. |
|
Wanderers: Chris Cooper, Neil Burnett, Jez Bennett, Andy Pym, Sam Curtis, Thom McWilliams |
