receive them shortly – apologies for the delay.
Kings’ sports hall is out of action. They are in the process of rearranging
fixtures. The majority have been rearranged already.
The national ladies are due to play Mallory on 23rd January and are
requesting the use of Riverside, as this is a high profile game. LF to ask
Torexe if they can transfer their game on this date to another venue to make
this possible.
The committee have received a complaint from Kirton concerning unsporting
behaviour from Exeter University. After discussion with the match official,
who considered it to be a one off incident, the committee have decided to take
no further action. However all teams are reminded that games are to played in
a friendly and sporting fashion.
There is a B.U.S.A. tournament being held at Exeter University this weekend (4th
and 5th December).
All teams are reminded that 6 players are required at all times for matches.
- Tournament secretary
Closed tournament is to be held on 9th January at the University.
All teams are required to attend unless they have been excused through prior
arrangement with the committee. There will be fines imposed for
non-attendance. PCC have asked to be excused from the tournament. The
committee have voted not to grant an exemption.
It is proposed to ask teams at the next closed tournament if they would wish
to change the format of the event, so that first division teams play each
other in the cup and lower divisions play each other in the plate.
