I have recently transferred into the PE department at HMP Channingswood and would like to know if there is any possibility of some friendly games being arranged at some point. We have enough prisoners who are interested in playing to field a team…

…I would say probably Div 1 to start as we have no formal team as yet so I’ll probably start work on a team as of next week.

League entry form and team registration list for the 2017-18 season have now been sent to all known clubs in the area. We are looking to once again run a Division 1 & 2 (mixed) plus a Ladies Division.  If you wish to take part in then please make sure that you get your forms in on time, the league format will be decided by the committee following the closing date.

After a whole season on volleyball, plus a bit extra due to the Riverside Fire. The league program has now fininshed with Taunton Panthers being crowned as 2016-17 League Champions just ahead of PMVC Pirates.

Division Two honors went to Torexe Jaguars who went unbeaten during the years and finished well ahead of second place Exeter University 1.

In the Ladies league, the 2016-17 honors went to Exeter Storm Ladies with Torexe Aces in a close second place.

Exmouth Beach Volleyball 2017 gets under way tomorrow (2nd May) with our weekly Tuesday evening sessions. Weather gives it a thumbs up at the moment but please check the Exmouth Beach VC web site as always for the ON/OFF decision (at or before 5pm).

Once again we will be opposite the Ocean Ten Pin Bowling Centre from 7 pm to 9 pm (setting up at 6:30pm).
