EDVA Tournaments 2023

The EDVA Mixed Tournament took place on Sunday 5th February 2023 at Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter from 10 am to 6pm. PMVC Pirates were the only team in the initial pool stages to keep a clean sheet with UPVC Blizzard taking the top place in Pool B by a single game point above ESVC Thunder.

In the closing stages of the cup final UPVC Blizzard, from Division 2, pulled ahead to have a clear win over PMVC Pirates. The Plate competition was very closely fought with both semi-finals and the final being decided by just a couple of points in each game. Both the Cup and Plate titles were taken this year by Division 2 teams, with Marjon also beating a couple of Division 1 teams to take the Plate title. The remainder of the lower division teams fought it out in the Bowl competition with ESVC Tempests showing their Div 2 experience to triumph over PMVC Tigers in the Bowl final.
